Renew Tech is a non-profit organization (application in progress) modeled after Free Geek in Portland, Or. Renew Tech aims to provide education and technology to those who need it while ensuring Electronic Waste is properly renewed or recycled.

Renew Tech can accept your old computer equipment in any condition free of charge; there is however, a $10 fee for all monitors. Once your equipment is received, community volunteers help us to repair or recycle the equipment. In exchange, for 24 hours of service the volunteer earns technical skills as well as one refurbished computer.

Renew Tech is not just a community organization - we're a community-supported organization. That means we take cash donations in addition to your old computer equipment. Donations large and small allow us to continue to provide our services.
